Adventure Awaits: Amanda & Christopher's Coastal Maine Engagement Session
The rugged coast of Ogunquit, Maine, was the perfect backdrop for Amanda and Christopher’s adventure engagement session. We explored hidden coves and rocky shores from "Little Beach" down to "Perkins Cove," then caught a spectacular sunset at Ogunquit Beach.

Spring Engagement Photography at Tarbin Gardens
Last month I finally returned to, the always enchanting, Tarbin Gardens with Morgan and Joey during their engagement session. Even though the forecast said it would rain, which I was secretly excited for because of its romantic charm, but the rain held off, leaving us with a beautiful afternoon to privately explore the gardens. With the flowers just beginning to bloom, the gardens offered a vibrant and intimate backdrop, making us feel like we were exploring The Shire.

Whimsical Spring Engagement Photography at the John Hay Estate at The Fells with Kelly & Patrick
I recently had the absolute pleasure of capturing Kelly and Patrick's playful and whimsical engagement session at the stunning John Hay Estate at The Fells in Newbury, New Hampshire. It was a perfect spring day, filled with laughter, genuine emotions, and even a little impromptu dance in the rain! As a photographer who blends documentary and editorial styles, my goal is always to create a space where couples can play off each other and letting their true personalities shine through. The gardens at The Fells were an absolute dream photography location, boasting incredible spring flowers in full bloom, offering a vibrant and picturesque backdrop for their authentic smiles and joyful connection.

My Leap of Faith into Film Photography | Maria & Josh’s Traditional Catholic Wedding on 35mm Black and White Film
For years, I've been thinking of exploring film photography. And this year, I finally took the leap, by bringing a single roll of black and white film and an old Minolta with a broken light meter to Maria and Josh's wedding. While I captured their full day on my digital cameras, I also carefully stretched that roll of film, shooting entirely off instinct, guided by over a decade of experience. Their ceremony at St. Joseph Church in Epping and reception at Camelot at the Holy Grail provided such beautiful backdrops, even with the rain.

She Said YES! | Carol and Connor’s Gorgeous Proposal at Nubble Lighthouse
There's something incredibly special about photographing a surprise proposal, especially when it unfolds against an iconic backdrop, like the famous Nubble Lighthouse in York, Maine. For Carol and Connor, visiting the lighthouse had been a yearly tradition, but now it’ll truly be a location they’ll cherish forever. Their proposal was made memorable and unique because Connor asked her to marry him in a romance language, Portuguese, adding an intimate layer to an already unforgettable occasion.
Outfit Inspiration | What To Wear To Your Engagement Session
Planning outfits for your engagement session can be stressful for some couples. Many couples even told me they tried on every outfit in their wardrobe or went out shopping for new clothes just for their engagement photos. Or even worse, they didn’t know what to wear, so they just wore any old outfit they found in the back of the closet, I’m looking at you grooms. Choosing your outfits for your engagement photos can feel impossible, and sometimes it’s tough to even know where to start. Luckily, I have a few ideas for you to take into consideration when thinking about your outfits!
Spring Engagement Photography at Odiorne Point State Park in Rye, NH
I returned to Odiorne Point State Park, one of my favorite spots, for Maria and Josh’s engagement session. It seems like the weather is drastically different every time I’m there, but the unpredictability is what I love about wedding and engagement photography. We already had to reschedule their engagement session once, due to the weather, but we were able to get there photos just about finished before it started to rain.

Photography Challenge Week April 2025 | Portrait and Street Photography
Last week my wife went to a work conference, in Texas, for a big certification, leaving me home for a week with nothing to do. So, I decided to challenge myself to completing a new photography project each day. It definitely wasn’t easy, especially since it was a last minute idea, but I took my camera out Monday through Friday and created some exceptional photos every day. It was an absolute blast to spend the week making photos, just for fun, and I’m happy to share some of my favorite shots of the week.
Mikayla and Stephen’s Autumn Wedding at Castleton in Windham, NH | Fall Wedding Photography
I knew that Mikayla and Stephen’s wedding was going to be a special day during their engagement session. They barely needed to warm-up to the camera and their passion was easy to capture. Even though it was rainy on their wedding day, their love continued to shine bright. Their wedding at Castleton Banquet & Conference Center remains one of my favorites of 2024, regardless of the weather.
Sunset Engagement Session on Wingaersheek Beach | Golden Hour Engagement Photography
Samantha and Nick’s engagement session was a few years ago now, but the sunset is still one of my favorites to look back on. We met at the gorgeous Wingaersheek Beach, in Gloucester, MA, and it was perfect location for their engagement photos. We wandered up and down the beach during golden hour taking fun and romantic photos, from climbing on rocks and sharing a bottle of champagne, to walking, hand-in-hand, towards a breathtaking sunset.
