Spring Engagement Photography at Tarbin Gardens
Last month I finally returned to, the always enchanting, Tarbin Gardens with Morgan and Joey during their engagement session. Even though the forecast said it would rain, which I was secretly excited for because of its romantic charm, but the rain held off, leaving us with a beautiful afternoon to privately explore the gardens. With the flowers just beginning to bloom, the gardens offered a vibrant and intimate backdrop, making us feel like we were exploring The Shire.

Whimsical Spring Engagement Photography at the John Hay Estate at The Fells with Kelly & Patrick
I recently had the absolute pleasure of capturing Kelly and Patrick's playful and whimsical engagement session at the stunning John Hay Estate at The Fells in Newbury, New Hampshire. It was a perfect spring day, filled with laughter, genuine emotions, and even a little impromptu dance in the rain! As a photographer who blends documentary and editorial styles, my goal is always to create a space where couples can play off each other and letting their true personalities shine through. The gardens at The Fells were an absolute dream photography location, boasting incredible spring flowers in full bloom, offering a vibrant and picturesque backdrop for their authentic smiles and joyful connection.
Sunset Engagement Session on Wingaersheek Beach | Golden Hour Engagement Photography
Samantha and Nick’s engagement session was a few years ago now, but the sunset is still one of my favorites to look back on. We met at the gorgeous Wingaersheek Beach, in Gloucester, MA, and it was perfect location for their engagement photos. We wandered up and down the beach during golden hour taking fun and romantic photos, from climbing on rocks and sharing a bottle of champagne, to walking, hand-in-hand, towards a breathtaking sunset.
Julie and Mike’s Engagement Session at Odiorne Point State Park | Summertime Engagement Photography
I met up with Julie and Mike at Odiorne Point State Park in Rye, NH on a hot and sunny day in August for their engagement session. Odiorne Point is a gorgeous park I have used many times for engagement photos, but on such a beautiful day, there was a big crowd, which limited some of the photo opportunities, but the way Julie and Mike looked at each other, you would think they were the only people in the world. Like many couples, they had expressed they were camera shy and felt awkward having their picture taken. One of my secrets for getting my couples comfortable with the camera and create the best photos is by having them focusing on each other and making each other laugh. Once they forget about the camera and focus on each other they let their guard down and start having fun, which is what I want for all my photoshoots.
Winter Engagement Photography at The Merrimack River Floodplain Forest in Concord, NH | Ashley & Todd’s Snowy Merrimack River Engagement Photos
During our initial phone call Ashley and Todd expressed they would love snowy engagement photos. So, we jumped at the first opportunity and were not disappointed. As a wedding photographer, I love providing my couples with unique experiences and photos, and I’ve found the weather is a fun tool to create interesting engagement photos.
Victoria and Jason’s Snowy Engagement Session at The Basin in Lincoln, NH | Snowy Winter Engagement Photography
As the snow falls, my 2025 season officially begins with an adventurous engagement session at The Basin, in Lincoln, New Hampshire. When I was about fifteen minutes away I noticed a few snowflakes coming down, and I knew that it was the perfect day for Victoria and Jason’s engagement photos. I just love when the weather works in our favor. I don’t mean a perfectly clear sky or golden sunset, those are always nice, but I also love when it downpours, or when it’s foggy, or when it is beginning to snow. It adds something to the experience and is a great way of making your engagement photos stand out.
