She Said YES! | Carol and Connor’s Gorgeous Proposal at Nubble Lighthouse
There's something incredibly special about photographing a surprise proposal, especially when it unfolds against an iconic backdrop, like the famous Nubble Lighthouse in York, Maine. For Carol and Connor, visiting the lighthouse had been a yearly tradition, but now it’ll truly be a location they’ll cherish forever. Their proposal was made memorable and unique because Connor asked her to marry him in a romance language, Portuguese, adding an intimate layer to an already unforgettable occasion. And of course, she said yes! As a New England wedding photographer, my goal is always to freeze these fleeting moments, ensuring every tear, every smile, and every genuine emotion is perfectly captured.
